Matt’s faith and family are the foundation of everything he does. As a husband, father, and member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Matt understands what Macomb County families are fighting to protect.

With nearly two decades in law enforcement, Matt has spent his career making tough decisions under pressure. His experience, degrees in criminal justice and public administration, and leadership in his community have prepared him for Lansing.

From coaching youth football to leading Boy Scout programs to volunteering across Macomb County, Matt has spent his life investing in this community long before he ever asked for its vote.
Public Safety and Law Enforcement
Matt knows firsthand what it means to put on the badge. He stands firmly for fully funding our police departments, opposing reckless criminal justice “reforms” that endanger citizens, and will ensure officers have the tools and legal backing they need to keep our neighborhoods safe.
Gun Rights
As an NRA Life Member, former NRA Instructor, and MCOLES Pistol and Rifle Instructor, Matt understands firearms more than most politicans. He will fiercely defend every law-abiding citizen’s constitutional right to keep and bear arms — no exceptions, no compromises.
Tax Reform
Rising energy costs and taxes are making it. difficult for Macomb families to get ahead. Matt will fight against tax increases, push for government to live within its means, and champion reforms that keep more money in the pockets of hardworking Michigan families and local small businesses.
Invest in our Schools
As a father of two, Matt believes parents — not government bureaucrats — should decide how their children are raised and educated. He supports school choice, opposes radical curriculum mandates, and will fight to restore common-sense values in our classrooms.

Guided by his Christian faith and commitment to human dignity, Matt is proudly pro-life. He will stand up for the unborn and oppose legislation that undermines the sanctity of life at every stage — in Lansing and beyond.
Roads and Infrastructure
Our townships deserve the infrastructure investments we’ve been promised. Matt will be a tireless advocate for Macomb County, securing road funding, fighting unfunded mandates, and ensuring state dollars actually reach our communities.
